With over 20 years’ experience as a business , economic development and corporate communication professional having worked in both the government, non-profit sector and as an entrepreneur, Dr. Carter Evans has extensive experience in municipal economic development strategy consulting, federal fund administration, entrepreneurial development, strategic partnership, corporate communication and brand management.
As a successful multi-passionate entrepreneur and brand manager serving high profile clientele across the US, her clients have appeared in NY Times, Black Enterprise, Washington Post, Ebony, and Essence. Clients have received national television media opportunities with BET/Centric, The Food Network, on billboards in NYC Times Square and across the US and on all major local news networks. Dr. Carter Evans is a six-time published international bestselling author.
As a community advocate and leader, she passionately dedicates her gifts and time to local nonprofits and serves alongside her husband in marriage ministry at their local church. Dr. Carter Evans is an active community volunteer currently serving on the Board of Directors of Jubilee Impact Fund (Chicago, IL); Center For Empowerment and Development (Atlanta, GA); Reimagine Women’s Center (Baton Rouge, LA); Jefferson County Revolving Loan Fund Advisory Board (Birmingham, AL) and is Board President for IGNITE Alabama. Dr. Carter Evans holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Mass Communications – Public Relations from Xavier University of Louisiana; a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Theology & Religious Studies from Hope Bible Institute; a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) – International Business Communication from University of Phoenix; a Master of Theology and Religious Studies from Hope Bible Institute and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Business Administration & Entrepreneurship from Trinity International University.
Dr. Carter Evans is married to her husband, Noble S. Evans of 16 years. They have two daughters, Victoria “Tori” and Alexia “Lexi.”.
